Kolarele Sonaike
I can highly recommend Kolarele for speech writing and coaching. As a business owner the need to present my business clearly is critical. Kolarele has been a great help with building my confidence and giving me the tools to perform at my best. My business presentations are becoming more effective and memorable and I have been amazed at the results – I have won several awards of ‘Best Speech’ at networking events!l

My fee ultimately depends on the exact nature of the work we do together. I am not cheap, but you shouldn’t want me to be. The real question is: what is my value to you? You should work on the assumption of a fee equivalent to £250 + VAT per hour. This could be higher or lower depending on how nice you are to me.

It’s a serious commitment, but I’m taking it that you are here because you want to get serious about your ability as a leader and communicator.

It all starts with the first contact.

Executive Coaching

If you are here, it means you already understand that there are two key skills you need to succeed in your career or business:

  1. Be damn good at what you do (this one’s on you)
  2. Be able to communicate convincingly and persuade others to your way of thinking (this is where I come in)

My Executive Coaching for Public Speaking work is tailored directly to your needs to help you become a great communicator. Whether you’re a CEO wanting to improve your business storytelling ability or a team manager with lots of powerpoint presentations to give, our mission together will be to turn you into a lean mean communicating machine.

To start with we’ll sit down (or skype) together to work out where you are now, where you want to be, and how we’re going to get you there. Then either through high-touch regular training sessions, or light touch occasional tuneups with me, we’ll work out a time-limited programme (the worst thing you can do is let it drift) that gets you to your goal.

Speechwriter for Leaders

Think back to the last time you heard some give a speech without really saying anything of value. Then remember that other moment when you found yourself captivated by a speaker, who just seemed to know what to say and how to say it. Which would you rather be?

Your words are so important when you want to inspire, persuade, or motivate an audience to act. A great speech is a combination of art and science, creativity and logic, speaking to the head and moving the heart. That is why the best speeches are the ones that connect with your audience on every level.

I love writing speeches. I love the fantastic challenge of a topic, a deadline, and a blank sheet of paper. I’ve written for small business entrepreneurs, charity leaders, creative directors, CEOs, Chairman and Managing Directors of multi-million-pound companies; and I’d love to write for you.

My single focus is to create a speech that fits you like a glove so you can get your audience to think, feel, or get up and do what you want.

My fee depends on what you need, and when you need it by, but you should work on the assumption of £250 + VAT per hour.

If you’re ready to change the world, give me a shout.

Kola has been for many years a distinguished orator who has always impressed when on stage presenting to others. I recently put him in touch with one of my friends who had to deliver a defining speech that was of significant importance to him. What was particularly impressive is how over a very short period of time, Kola was able to transform (by providing the tools, know-how and techniques) my friend from somebody who was nervous, stuttering and with poor body language and unclear messages when speaking to an audience, into somebody who was evidently self-confident, impactful, thought-provoking with crisp messaging. In short, my friend suddenly gained some much-needed presence and the audience could not quite believe the transformation!

What kind of speech do you need?

Keynote Speech

Do you want to be listened to? If you’ve ever watched a TED Talk, you’ll know the power that a well-crafted speech has to move minds and change the world. If you want to establish yourself as a thought-leader, your ability to deliver a keynote that captivates is crucial. It can’t be mundane. It has to be thought-provoking. This is my favourite kind of project.

Business Presentation

Never give a presentation where an email would do. Your business presentation has to be about much more than just giving information. What do the facts & stats actually mean? How should your audience interpret those quarterly results? I’ll work with you help you craft and deliver a presentation that enlightens people and sets you apart from the dullards!

Humorous Speech

Being funny in a speech is the hardest thing to do. Even comedians don’t just get up and start making people laugh. They write, rehearse and retry until the chuckles start coming. Fortunately, as hard as humour is to get right, there is a technique to it that works, which is used for everything from a James Bond one-liner to a 2 hour set by Chris Rock.

Investor Pitch

Getting an audience to applaud is easy. Audiences are nice even if they’re bored by you. But getting investors to pull out their cheque book to fund your business is an entirely different proposition. If you’ve ever watched Dragons Den, you’ll know that to get an investment from an angel you have to hit their heads as well as their hearts.
